In 1978, the men of CEA earned the nickname “Lions” after their intervention at the Italian Grand Prix, when they rescued Ronnie Peterson from the flames.
1989
In 1989, the legendary rescue of Gerhard Berger at the San Marino Grand Prix definitively cemented the reputation of the CEA Squadra Corse.
1990
In 1990, the FIA drafted the first regulations on safety at motorsport events, also consulting CEA managers for their unique expertise.
2012
Since 2012, CEA Estintori has been the lead company of the Italian Network of Firefighting Companies: the Network Group for Safety Services.
2017
In 2017, CEA Estintori celebrated its first 50 years of activity in fire safety.
Today, CEA Racing Team is present at the major motorsport events in both circuits and rallies across Italy, with a staff of over 300 specialists and 50 vehicles dedicated to race safety.
Five years to be spent on the track, fully active, but always supervised by an experienced Lion. A long training period to assess the characteristics and inclinations of the new Lion and determine the most suitable role. Based on their abilities, they will be assigned the task and position that best fit them.
